For most pop songs there is no organ score. I write the arrangement myself — for your song, for your organ. That is not an extra; it is the heart of the matter.
On the day
Processional, signing, exchange of rings, recessional — and the prelude while your guests arrive. If there are soloists, I accompany them. If things run longer than planned, I keep playing.

How it works
You send me the date, the place and the music you have in mind. I usually reply within 48 hours.
We go through the service and settle the pieces. Afterwards you know exactly what is played when.
I arrange whatever needs arranging. If anything has to be agreed with the parish in advance, I gladly handle it.
If the organ calls for it, I come to your church beforehand to practise. Every organ is different.
I arrive early. There is nothing left for you to look after.

It was simply wonderful. Lukas played the organ so beautifully that even the pastor asked us about him afterwards.
I wanted a few modern songs on the organ — I could not have found a better organist. The ceremony was a dream; we had goosebumps the moment it began.
We had asked for organ together with trumpets. Lukas rearranged two of the pieces from scratch and came to our church in advance to rehearse.

Common questions
That is the normal case. Name a few songs that mean something to you — we go through them and provisionally decide what belongs where. I will tell you openly what carries well in the room and make recommendations from experience. The music is usually only final after your conversation with the minister. That is always how it goes and never a problem.
Almost always. The organ has more colours than any other instrument — it simply rarely sounds the way people expect. If a piece genuinely will not carry, I tell you beforehand and suggest an alternative.
That depends on the place, the date, the number of pieces and how much has to be newly arranged. After your enquiry I give you a fixed price — no hourly rates, no additions later.
Home is Cologne, and this is where I play most often. But I have travelled right across Germany — from Hamburg to the Black Forest. Where your church stands is not an obstacle. We settle the rest in a short phone call.
This is rarely an issue. Usually the church asks in advance whether an organist is needed — you simply say no, and that is that. Otherwise a word to the minister or the parish office that you are bringing someone is enough. If the parish needs proof or wants to talk it through, I handle that directly.
